Is there a way to look at pictures you've gotten before without needing to get back to the word? I wanna see the old images I got because the drawings are nice.
I wrote a python script to play the game for me :)
https://pastebin.com/jpzZU1jp uses the fact that ubuntu has the dictionary at '/usr/share/dict/words' so idk what you would change to make it work on windows
Did you make a script? If you did I'm interested to know how you solved it. This problem seems to be a version of the travelling salesman problem which means that brute-forcing a solution would take too long.
yeah brute forcing would take a while, I'll never find the true best solution. But I've got a pretty good one that visits only 182 unique words to go via the 105 picture words (so it only touches 77 non-picture words), it uses a lot of undos which don't require you to visit any new words
This was a bunch of fun to come back to. I really wish I had read directions more thoroughly because I didn't realize you could rearrange the letter to form a new word. I just replaced 1 letter at a time until I got stuck on iron and ogre, then tried the game in chrome and read the directions and got the whole "rearrange existing letters to make a new word". So...103 words solved just by changing one letter at a time... sigh.
Decided to try again. Got all 105! All those words from yesterday helped (new and picture words both). Also discovered a couple of words new to me.
I must also say thanks for leaving in the more crass words like "crap". Weird "mead" (an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey mixed with water) isn't allowed though.
Fun! It would be nice to be able to make our own picture words to create custom challenges, and it would be nice to see both how many total unique words we found and the total number of steps used when completing the board.
Found 'em all! Simple mechanic executed nicely. I like that you can only move backwards through previous words. While I found myself wanting to jump to previously found picture words, the ability would have removed a lot of the challenge. Having to try to remember how I got to one picture word so that I can change one letter for a new picture word was frustrating at times, but rewarding. Really great selection of words to find :)
I absolutely loved this game. I used to play something like this with pen and paper when I was bored at school, but this is such a great refinement and presentation of that idea! Love all the animations. Great work.
took me all day but i got them all! its way passed my bed time but i was so close i knew i wasnt gonna be able to sleep if i didnt finish, lol. Very fun and addictive, loved the cute drawings. It was so satisfying finding the paths to the words, but when id accidentally stumble across one?? i felt like a genius lmao. lots of fun thanks for a fun game!

love this!
I had a ton of fun with this game. My last word was Iron!
how do you get iron?
I don't remember exactly how but I do remember it involved using the word "noil" which I didn't know was a word, haha. Hopefully that helps somewhat!
so cute and fun
great artstyle :)
really addicting and a lot of fun. I feel like it makes me more of an intellectual just by typing small words over and over :p
really good, took me about two hours to solve

you beat me to it! I've got a python script in the works to calculate the smallest possible winning path that goes via all picture words

I'm annoyed, I had so many words and now I have to restart :(
can you add copy-paste to the game? Beacuse I cant even get past without paste cuz my buttons are broken-
You can use a virtual keyboard.
I am crazy and mapped keyboard keys to a game controller so I can type using the controller and never use the keyboard if I want. lol
A. Well thats true lmao
is fun i found 2 special word so far
We finally finished after 3 days spent most of it on iron and quiz, can finally close the computer. Cute little game
yeah idea was also a tough one
word game of all time it accepts swear words and I found 3 of them
Rubik cube but you fiddle with words. Lovely!
I finished it again but on the desktop version. Frustrating but fun!
Anyway, I have another suggestion after that: a in-game timer. For personal bests and speed-running!
no pear :(

thoroughly enjoyed every second of this!
after two days of playing, i found all the picture words!! great game, thank you Daniel Linssen!
very fun took me about 3 days to find all the picture words the last one i needed was disc
I would like the option to click on a found word and start from there. Otherwise, very fun game.
Also, is there a way to see what words you have entered (non-picture words)?
I got to 103 and needed to go to bed.
My progress wasn't saved! =(

Got me into the flow so hard. Did not expect.

Took me days, but I finally did it. I hope to see more games like this!
