from level 3 onwards it's pure rng for me :)
I cant beat 3rd level 😭
very fun! 8pool alternative :v
devious (complimentary), what a clever idea
This reminds me a lot of reYal and KITSUNE.control, except those games have you control a meta level down by pressing keys instead of using physics. (KITSUNE.control in particular, since it also has you lining up larger multi-layer moves)
Fractal tic-tac-toe is like this too, with smaller board placement determining where on the big board you go.
(also some multi-board pinball games?)
I wonder how many other game genres this can be applied to?
ok bugs probably don't matter in something like this, but I still feel obligated to report a crash I found
I think it was because I hit the ball so slowly it got -0 velocity on collision maybe
There seems to be a very weird bug in this game, (or my own PC, but I can't tell where), that causes the sound to completely go out for like half a second after sinking a ball.
I like the game otherwise, but this sound issue bothers me...
Hole 4, 131 strokes in, I need to get back to work.
Hole 2 was the most confusing as it's not yet clear that only ball 2 can move ball 3, the little diagram below could use some numbers and more direct way to explain the mechanic
This gives me Desert Golfing vibes =)
The control scheme, drives me mad though, I have a "pull back to aim" kind of muscle memory, that I cannot shake.
You can now press Tab to invert the controls.
ah i see thanks, but it doesn't really work that well because it auto releases when the mouse exits the frame... so it kind of defeats the purpose
Quite difficult. Nice though.
It took me a while to realize this is Sinuca
why would you make this? So satisfying yet so aggrevating
this game made me irrationally angry. great though
Daniel, why must all your games be so frustrating yet oh so compelling?
HAvent played yet cuz I'm not on a computer but looks good 👍
the moment I gave up
how do i reset the game/ level? holding delete isnt working
That's weird. Make sure the game is in focus, and make sure you're holding Delete down long enough. The game should slowly go black.
tried that, still not working. im on a mac laptop if that helps?
Terrible game. Great. The 5's impossible. The 5's possible.
Finally i put the 5 ! That is not easy but if you put carefully all the balls on a line with the hole at the other end it's way easier (compared to bouncing everything everywhere ahah) ! I got it on my 347th stroke
I will come back to try that 6 !
Imagine missing this shot though. The pain.
I love this so so much, a simple game about interacting vectors.
Only part that’s frustrating is that my muscle memory has been set by other pool-like games, and I keep going for “pull-back” aiming, causing my shots to fly off in the opposite direction of my intention. I would love to see a toggle for that, but that’s a small ask on an other wise simple but super satisfying little toy
Thanks for the suggestion, there's now a toggle for this (pressing Tab)!
❤❤
You: "Snoook doesn't end, so please stop playing when it no longer brings you joy."
Me: "I'm 60 strokes in and this is no longer fun but I am going to sink that stupid 3-ball if it's the last thing I do."
(It was in fact a fun frustration, though I can't imagine carrying on to four balls or beyond.)
love love *love* the vfx of the balls "breathing" and the 'clack' of their hitting each other!
feels soooooo satisfying to play
Once you get to 3 balls what are you supposed to do? None of them disappear when they go over the hole...
Collision ordering is shown on the bottom. Only the highest number ball can fall into the hole.
Oh, they do, they do. You're not the only person who overshot the hole with the 3-ball.
Oh man, Glittermitten Grove should've had this in it.
Oh this is a timeless classic buried in the possible permutations. You may have spawned a new genre, the geometry philsophizer.
Playing this on a mobile browser.... man I'm bad at this haha. Love that it goes forever but I only got to 4.
Fun!
